Why is there a 'loot' going on for Coldplay concert, website crashed in minutes

Coldplay Concert In India: These days, there is a lot of discussion about the concert of British rock band Coldplay in India. During the ticket booking of Coldplay's concert, the booking app itself crashed, after which the people booking the tickets for the concert had to face a lot of problems. This concert named 'Music of the Spheres' is going to be held on 19-20 January 2025 at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The ticket booking window opened on Sunday at 12 noon, but due to heavy traffic, both the site and app of Book My Show crashed. Apart from this, seeing the huge demand for the concert, a third show has also been added. That is, now the band will perform in Mumbai for three days instead of two days.

The app solved the problem

Booking resumed some time after the crash, but even then problems arose due to the number of users being around 10 lakh. To deal with all these technical problems, Book My Show implemented a queue system, through which a user can book a maximum of 4 tickets at a time. Earlier this limit was 8 tickets, but it was reduced considering the situation. The surprising thing is that about 1 crore people came to the website to book tickets simultaneously.

Coldplay's third show was an add-on

However, despite this, many fans kept complaining about difficulties in ticket booking on social media. Meanwhile, Coldplay has extended the date of their show to 21 January 2025 so that more and more fans can be a part of their concert. The band announced this new show by sharing a picture on their official social media.
