In the 24th match of the ICC Under 19 Womens T20 World Cup 2025, Team India once again performed brilliantly and defeated Sri Lanka. Team India scored only 118 runs against Sri Lanka in this Group A match but despite this it got an easy victory. India restricted the Sri Lankan team to just 58 runs and registered another big win by 60 runs. Team India remained on top in Group A by winning three consecutive matches and qualified proudly for the Super 6 League stage. On the other hand, Sri Lanka lost the first match in this tournament. This team has also reached Super Six.
Gongadi Trisha won the match
The star of Team India’s victory was Gongadi Trisha, who played an inning of 49 runs. This player hit 5 fours and one six. Due to this inning of his, Team India somehow reached 118 runs. Apart from Trisha, no batsman could even reach 20 runs. For Sri Lanka, Limansa Tillakaratne and Pramudi Mathasara took 2-2 wickets.

The target in front of Sri Lanka was not big but the Indian bowlers created problems for them. Shabnam Shakeel and Joshita together shook the Sri Lankan top order. SUPER 6 | Team India’s hat-trick of victory
Team India has won all three of its matches in the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. All three matches have been won in a one-sided manner. In the first match, Team India defeated West Indies by 9 wickets. After this, Malaysia team lost the match by 10 wickets and now a big victory of 60 runs has been registered over Sri Lanka. Talking about the points table, the Indian team qualified with 6 points in 3 matches.
