Raipur: A case of alleged cruelty to a woman has come to light from Koriya district of Chhattisgarh, which has created a sensation in the area. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against her husband and started investigation. According to the information, the matter is of a village in Patna police station area. In the statement given by the victim to the police, it has been alleged that her husband was arguing with her for a long time. After the differences between the two increased, she was living her life separately by doing labor and household work. But a few days ago, her husband, searching for her, reached the place where she was living.

After reaching there, a dispute started once again between the two, during which the accused beat her. Not only this, it has been said in the complaint that the woman was physically and mentally tortured and an attempt was also made to humiliate her publicly.

The victim alleged that her hair was cut, her face was blackened and a video of the entire incident was also recorded. Along with this, the woman says that during this period she was continuously threatened and attempts were made to harm her reputation. The accused gave clarification

After the incident, the accused husband has given clarification regarding the allegations against him. He says that this situation arose due to a family dispute. According to police officials, based on the complaint of the woman, a case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).
