Will American commandos jump into the well of death? Preparations to enter inside Iran and extract uranium, fear of huge devastation
Washington/Tehran: The ongoing great war in West Asia has now reached its most dangerous turn. US President Donald Trump has prepared a plan against Iran, which can change the geography of the entire world. According to a shocking report in ‘The Wall Street Journal’, the Trump administration is now preparing to take possession of hundreds of kilos of enriched uranium present there by carrying out a ground operation inside Iran. Trump’s goal is clear—through negotiations or force, Iran’s nuclear crisis must be ended.
400 kg uranium and Trump’s warning
Iran currently has about 400 kg of enriched uranium. Experts believe that this quantity is enough to make a nuclear bomb. Uranium is a substance that can be purified through machines (centrifuge) to produce nuclear energy or a destructive bomb. Trump has bluntly told his close associates that Iran will have to give up this stockpile. If Tehran does not hand it over, the US military will forcibly seize it. To carry out this mission, there is a plan to send 10,000 additional American soldiers to the Middle East, out of which 3,500 soldiers have already reached the front.
Nuclear treasure buried under debris
In the recent American bombing, it was claimed that Iran’s nuclear program has been destroyed, but the reality is different. According to IAEA chief Rafael Grossi, Iran’s large nuclear stockpile is safely buried under underground tunnels and mountain debris at sites such as Isfahan and Natanz. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has also admitted that 60% of their enriched uranium is under the debris and there is no intention of extracting it at the moment. The Trump administration believes that this material can be obtained through a precise ‘surgical operation’, due to which the war will not drag on and everything will be over by mid-April.
How challenging will this ‘secret operation’ be?
Experts believe that stepping on Iranian soil is like jumping into the ‘river of fire’. For this operation, the American Special Forces will first have to secure the area, where they will have to face Iran’s deadly missiles and suicide drones. After this, the landmines will be cleared by removing the debris. Uranium will have to be filled in 40 to 50 special cylinders and transported to the airfield through trucks. If there is no runway there, American engineers will have to build a temporary runway. This entire mission can last for at least a week.
Trump wants to avoid a long war
Donald Trump wants to end this operation as soon as possible. His advisers want him to focus on domestic issues and the upcoming elections, where the Republican Party’s credibility is at stake, rather than foreign wars. But if this ‘uranium seizure’ mission fails or Iran retaliates strongly, then this war may drag on not for weeks but for months, which may prove costly for Trump politically and militarily.
Iran’s blunt answer: ‘Will not be afraid of threats’
Here, Iran has also toughened its stance. During talks held in Oman in January, Iran had made it clear that it would not stop its uranium enrichment program under American pressure. Foreign Minister Araghchi said that America’s intentions cannot be trusted and Iran’s nuclear policy will not be changed by threats. Now the entire world’s eyes are on April—will Trump be able to end the threat of nuclear weapons or will the world witness another major destruction?
