Will Canada be the next Pakistan? Justin Trudeau's Khalistan-appeasement policy could do this

It is well known that Pakistan has supported and nurtured terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) so that they can be used against India. Such was Pakistan's love for them that it not only funded these terrorist organizations but also made its soil a safe haven for them. Today, there are many active terrorist organizations in Pakistan that have threatened the security of the Islamic Republic and endangered the lives of its people. There is a saying – 'You reap what you sow'. This is what is happening with Pakistan, but it still does not realize its mistake and continues to sponsor terrorism against India.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is also making similar mistakes by giving shelter to Khalistani elements for electoral gains. Trudeau's party – the Liberal Party of Canada – is rapidly losing support among Canadian voters and hence, Trudeau is trying to appease the Sikh population, which numbers around seven lakh.

The Canadian government has accused India of using the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to target Khalistani elements. However, she has so far failed to provide any concrete evidence for the allegations. India's Foreign Ministry has strongly reacted to the Canadian government's allegations, saying that the Trudeau government is blaming India by taking the name of Lawrence Bishnoi, but it has shown leniency towards the criminals associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. India has sent 26 extradition requests to the Canadian government, but no action has been taken.

Additionally, India has also appealed in 29 cases where wanted criminals should have been arrested, but Canada has failed to act on them as well. Surprisingly, Canada is ready to sacrifice its diplomatic relations with India for the sake of Khalistani terrorists. These terrorists often stage massive protests against India across Canada and have attacked Hindu temples across the country and even in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Protests by Khalistani terrorists often lead to chaos and worsen the security situation. However, this is despite the fact that Canada is harboring these declared terrorists for petty gains.

Canada's determination to break diplomatic ties over the issue of Khalistani terrorists shows that Justin Trudeau's policies are completely motivated by vote bank politics. In an effort to appease certain groups, Trudeau has once again targeted India. While Trudeau claims to prioritize public safety, his government's actions tell a different story. Here is an important evidence: On May 17, 2024, Zee News requested data from the Canadian government regarding the entry of Khalistani terrorists into Canada, and the Canadian government shared shocking data. In 2021, 141 individuals linked to Khalistani terrorism sought asylum in Canada, and 36 of them were granted entry. In 2022, the number of such applicants increased to 801, of which 428 were approved.

In 2023, 618 applications clearly showing support for Khalistani terrorism were submitted, and 364 individuals were granted entry. By March 2024, 119 applications were submitted, and Canada approved the entry of 78 people linked to Khalistani terrorism.

This data highlights Trudeau's appeasement policies, raising serious questions about the government's commitment to public safety while allowing individuals with terrorist ties into the country. Justin Trudeau is arguing for the security of Khalistani terrorists in his country, but by giving shelter to Khalistani terrorists, they are creating a threat to the security of India. These statistics highlight the double standards of the Canadian Prime Minister.

Trudeau also fails to understand that Khalistani terrorists and members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have deep ties with Pakistani terrorist organizations. Sooner or later, if Trudeau fails to rein them in and cooperate with India on New Delhi's extradition requests, it is only going to create internal chaos for Canada. Meanwhile, Canadians can only hope that Trudeau comes to his senses in time, otherwise the day is not far when Canada will become another Pakistan by becoming home to many terrorist organizations.
