Will cold return again in UP? Alert of heavy rain and hail in the next 48 hours: – ..

News India Live, Digital Desk: Now there is going to be a break on the ‘March-like heat’ in Uttar Pradesh in the month of February. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh warning saying that due to an active Western Disturbance, there is going to be a big change in the weather of UP. Within the next 24 to 48 hours, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in many parts of the state and hail at some places.

Effect of western disturbance will be visible

According to the Zonal Meteorological Centre, the weather pattern will start changing from the evening of 16th February. The direct impact of snowfall in the hilly areas of North India will be seen in the plains. The department has issued a yellow alert of severe thunderstorm and rain in the districts of western Uttar Pradesh on 17 and 18 February.

Rain and fog warning in these districts

The Meteorological Department has said that in major cities like Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur, light fog can be seen in the morning, while the movement of clouds will start in the evening. Winds may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in some parts of western UP.

There will be a drop in temperature

At present the maximum temperature in many cities of UP has reached between 28 to 30 degrees Celsius, but after the coming rains the mercury may fall by 2 to 4 degrees. Due to this, the cold of the night will be felt once again. Farmers have also been advised to take care of their crops in view of hail and strong winds.

Condition of Delhi-NCR

Along with UP, there is a possibility of light drizzle in Delhi and NCR areas also around February 18. However, today i.e. on 16th February the sky will be clear and sunny.
