New Delhi. The last match of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand will be played from Friday. This match will be played at Wankhede Stadium. India's veteran player Jasprit Bumrah can be rested in this match. This is being claimed in media reports.

If reports are to be believed, Jasprim Bumrah has been given rest, due to which he has returned to his home. If Bumrah does not play the third and last Test match, then discussions have gained momentum as to who will play in his place in the team. Actually, the Indian team management wanted him to take some rest so that he could restore his body. Now he will join the Indian team when the team leaves for Australia.

Jasprit Bumrah has been given this rest keeping in mind the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy. The team management wants Bumrah to be fresh for the Australia tour. The report also states that the team management's strategy was to rest Jasprit Bumrah in the first Pune Test, but after the defeat in the Bengaluru Test, the strategy had to be changed and Bumrah played in the second Test.
