Mahakal Temple will be heavy on Babri Masjid; Mamta has taken out Kabir’s joke, will BJP’s politics be affected?

West Bengal Politics: In West Bengal, MLA Humayun Kabir, who was expelled from TMC a month ago, is strongly advocating the construction of Babri Masjid in the state. His actions have put the ruling Trinamool Congress in trouble. However, Mamata Banerjee has now given a big blow to Kabir’s political moves by making a new announcement.

Amidst Humayun’s demand for Babri Masjid, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has given a big update about Bengal’s largest Mahakal temple. On Monday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that the foundation stone of the state’s largest Mahakal temple will be laid in the second week of January. He made this important announcement while laying the foundation of a Durga temple in New Town.

Mamata’s move created a political stir

After this announcement by Mamata Banerjee, the stir in the political circles has intensified. Questions are being raised from all sides whether this move of Mamata Banerjee is going to be successful in the upcoming Bengal elections? Has Mamata Banerjee found a strategic solution for Humayun Kabir?

Kabir laid the foundation of Babri Masjid

In fact, former TMC leader Humayun Kabir laid the foundation stone of Babri Masjid in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on 6 December. Earlier when he had made this announcement, Mamata Banerjee had shown Kabir the way out of TMC citing communal politics.

BJP accused of polarization

After Humayun Kabir laid the foundation of Babri Masjid, BJP started targeting Mamata Banerjee. BJP alleged that Trinamool Congress is using this MLA for polarization. He also warned her that she was playing with fire.

Humayun Kabir increased Mamta’s tension

On the other hand, after laying the foundation of the mosque, Humayun Kabir announced to contest the upcoming Bengal elections by forming the Janata Unnayan Party. Meanwhile, he also talked about contesting the elections in alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM and Naushad Siddiqui’s political party ISF.

The foundation of the Durga temple was laid under ‘Mahakal’ announcement of

After all these political incidents, on one hand Mamata Banerjee laid the foundation of a Durga temple in New Town and on the other hand she announced the foundation stone of Mahakal temple in the second week of January. Many political meanings are being inferred from this step of Mamata Banerjee.

Will Mamata be able to break the BJP narrative?

Political experts say that through these announcements, Mamata is first of all trying to break the narratives of BJP in which TMC and it are accused of doing politics of Muslims. If this narrative is broken then she will be successful in defeating her biggest rival party.

Both Hindus and Muslims are necessary for the government

Apart from this, Muslim voters play a decisive role in 30 seats in Bengal. Whereas there are around 50 such seats where Muslims have influence. In such a situation, if anyone wants to come to power here, it is very important for him to have the support of the Hindu community. Humayun Kabir will contest elections for the first time on the basis of a new party, in such a situation it is hardly possible that all the Muslim votes will go towards him.

In such a situation, if Mamata Banerjee gets the support of half of the Muslim voters and also gets the support of Hindus, then she will easily be able to cross the 2026 election midstream. This is the reason why Mamata Banerjee has made this announcement. At present, it is very difficult to predict exactly when in politics which strategy will work and which move will backfire. In such a situation, it will be important to see whether this move of Mamata Banerjee succeeds or not.
