Will matches featuring Kohli and Rohit in Vijay Hazare Trophy be telecasted? All you need to know

NEW DELHI: Excitement is building as Indian cricket stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma make their long-awaited return to the domestic circuit in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

After years away from the tournament, the two legends are set to play key matches for Delhi and Mumbai, reigniting interest among fans.

Unfortunately, fans will not be able to watch their matches live on television this season. The BCCI has not arranged a full broadcast of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, so there will be no live telecast of Kohli, Rohit group stage matches.

Rohit Sharma will take the field for Mumbai in Jaipur, playing against Sikkim and Uttarakhand on December 24 and 26. Kohli will represent Delhi in Bengaluru, though his exact matches are yet to be confirmed. Both players will use the tournament to sharpen their skills ahead of India’s ODI series against New Zealand starting January 11.

The tournament also features several other top names, including Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, and Abhishek Sharma. Their participation adds star power and gives the youngsters a chance to compete alongside India’s elite.
