According to a media report, an ICC official said, “It is the responsibility of every team to put the tournament logo on its jersey. It is mandatory for all teams to follow this rule.” According to the rules, teams participating in ICC tournaments have to write the name of the host country on their jerseys, no matter where the match takes place. Let us tell you that even though India will play its matches in the Champions Trophy in UAE (Dubai), the host of the tournament is Pakistan. Earlier, the 2021 tournament was organized in UAE, but BCCI was the host.

According to news agency IANS, BCCI has refused to print Pakistan on the Indian jersey for the 2025 Champions Trophy. PCB has expressed displeasure over this decision. Earlier, BCCI had reportedly refused to send captain Rohit to Pakistan for the captains' meeting for the Champions Trophy. According to the news agency, a PCB official had accused BCCI of bringing politics into cricket. He also expressed hope that ICC will not allow this to happen and will help him fully.

Let us tell you that Champions Trophy 2025 is going to start from 19th February. In this tournament, Team India will play its first match against Bangladesh in Dubai on 20th February. After this, the team will face its arch-rival Pakistan on 23 February. At the same time, Team India will play its last league match 2 against New Zealand.
