Will Pakistan make a compromise? Iran’s delegation will reach Islamabad today for talks with America

Islamabad. Amidst the atmosphere of distrust, Iran has confirmed that its 10-member delegation will reach Pakistan on Thursday to participate in the proposed talks to resolve the ongoing dispute with the US and Israel. This important talk is proposed in Islamabad on Friday, just a few days after the two-week ceasefire. US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he has agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran on Pakistan’s proposal.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited delegations from both the countries, America and Iran, to Islamabad on Friday, April 10, so that further talks can be held to resolve all the disputes. Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam confirmed the participation of his country’s delegation, saying that alleged ceasefire violations by Israel remain a skepticism in Iranian public opinion regarding peace talks.

“Despite repeated ceasefire violations by the Israeli government and efforts to sabotage the diplomatic initiative invited by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Iranian delegation is arriving in Islamabad tonight and will hold serious talks based on Iran’s 10-point proposal,” he said on ‘X’. The US delegation is also likely to reach Islamabad, although the time of their arrival has not been announced.

Only Friday has been fixed for talks. Vice President JD Vance is expected to lead the US delegation. The US and Israel jointly attacked Iran on February 28, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several top commanders.

In response, Iran’s actions spread conflict throughout the Gulf region. In another statement, Moghadam said Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and responsible role in ending the war, strengthening peace and security in the region and implementing the ceasefire.
