DA became a disaster for the government
The issue of DA has become a problem for the Aam Aadmi Party government. Employees and pensioners of Punjab are getting only 42 percent DA, which is much less than the central government and many other states. He is owed 18 percent DA. On April 8, the court has given interim orders to the Punjab government to release the outstanding dearness allowance. After this, the problems of the government have increased further. It is estimated that the government will have to announce at least Rs 15 thousand crore to clear the dues. It is very difficult for the Punjab government to give so much money. However, the government has notified the formation of a Cabinet sub-committee to review DA and Pay Commission dues.
