Will Rahul Gandhi go to jail for his ‘traitor’ statement? BJP leader reached police station at midnight and filed FIR
Once again the war of words has taken a very aggressive and legal form in the country’s politics. In fact, a huge uproar has arisen after Congress leader and leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, allegedly used very objectionable words against the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in a public program. Rahul Gandhi used a strong and controversial word like ‘traitor’ for these two biggest leaders of the country, after which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the entire NDA have mobilized against Rahul Gandhi from the streets to the police station.
BJP Yuva Morcha opened file against Rahul Gandhi
As soon as this statement of Rahul Gandhi came to light, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s Delhi state spokesperson Abhishek Dubey has opened a front against him. Without wasting any time, Abhishek Dubey has filed a written complaint against Rahul Gandhi at Tigri police station in Delhi. In this complaint letter, a clear demand has been made from the police that an FIR should be registered against Rahul Gandhi under serious sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) for using indecent language against the country’s Prime Minister and Home Minister, so that in future no one can speak such language on a public platform.
The whole controversy started from the public event of 20th May
According to the complaint given in Tigri police station, this entire controversy is related to a public event organized on 20 May 2026. It has been alleged in the complaint that from a public platform, Rahul Gandhi used the word ‘traitor’ against the leaders holding top constitutional posts of the country, which deeply hurts the democracy and constitutional dignity of the country. Regarding the matter, BJP says that such inflammatory and indecent statements can spread mutual enmity, hatred and anger in the society, hence strict legal action is very important in this matter.
Tarun Chugh and Chirag Paswan’s strong counter attack on Rahul Gandhi
As soon as this statement went viral, BJP’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh made the sharpest attack on Rahul Gandhi till date. Tarun Chugh sarcastically said that Rahul Gandhi, drowning in frustration and despair like a retarded child, is speaking against the country and its leaders; They are making such cheap statements just to please foreign powers.
At the same time, Union Minister Chirag Paswan also strongly condemned this and wrote on social media that the Prime Minister represents 140 crore people of the country, political differences have their place but it is very unfortunate for him to use such indecent language.
