After the nomination of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for Rajya Sabha, discussion is going on about the name of the new Chief Minister in Bihar. There is talk that the next Chief Minister will be from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Why did Amit Shah call Samrat Chaudhary to Delhi? No clear reason for this has emerged. There are speculations that he may discuss forming a new government. Samrat holds the number two position in the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar. He also handles the home department, considered the most important in the state, which was earlier held by Nitish Kumar.

It is reported that the top leadership of BJP has started discussing the possible Chief Minister. After Nitish Kumar becomes Rajya Sabha MP, he will resign from the post of Chief Minister of Bihar. After this a new government can be formed. An announcement about the next Chief Minister is expected in the coming days.
National president of BJP ally Janata Dal United and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar filed his nomination for Rajya Sabha in Patna last Thursday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present. Nitish himself announced his candidature through a social media post.
Workers angry with Nitish’s decision
Nitish Kumar said that he is going to Rajya Sabha on his own will. After this, a JDU meeting was held at his house on Friday, in which it was decided that Nitish’s son Nishant Kumar would enter politics. However, JDU workers are opposing this decision of Nitish and are calling it not theirs but BJP’s decision.
Elections for five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar are to be held on March 16. The tenure of the new members will begin in April after the seats of the existing MPs become vacant. It is being told that after becoming Rajya Sabha MP, Nitish will resign from the post of Chief Minister, due to which Bihar will get a new Chief Minister.
Will Samrat Chaudhary become the new Chief Minister?
There is a strong possibility that the next Chief Minister of Bihar will be from BJP. Many names are being discussed for the post of CM of BJP. Samrat Chaudhary’s name is at the forefront in this race. Samrat is currently Nitish Kumar’s deputy and comes from the backward Kushwaha caste. The name of BJP’s well-known Yadav face Nityanand Rai is also being discussed.
