This statement of Khamenei has come at a time when the eyes of the world are fixed on the talks to be held in Islamabad on April 10.

‘There will be an account of blood’, Khamenei’s attitude became strict

Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei gave a clear message saying that those who attack Iran will not be spared under any circumstances. This is Donald Trump’s first public statement after the ceasefire announcement. Khamenei bluntly said that even though Iran does not want war, it will not compromise with its rights. He described Iran as the winner in the recent conflict and said that they are now standing on the threshold of becoming a major superpower. Khamenei warned that every drop of the martyrs’ blood and compensation for the damage caused would be recovered from the attackers. Besides, he has also indicated a new strategy regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

Lebanon attack increases tension before peace talks

The meeting, proposed to be held in Islamabad on Friday, April 10, 2026, aims to convert the two-week conditional ceasefire into permanent peace. But even before sitting at the meeting table, Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian has made serious allegations against Israel. Pejeshkian said Israel’s latest attacks on Lebanon are a flagrant violation of the ceasefire. He warned that if the lack of trust continues and rules are ignored, peace talks could become ineffective. Iran has made it clear that it will not leave its allies, especially the people of Lebanon, alone.

Tight security arrangements in Pakistan, eyes on JD Vance

Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir met Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and took stock of the security arrangements. Pakistan has assured complete security to the American delegation. There is discussion that JD Vance from America’s side may reach Pakistan to attend this meeting, although due to security reasons, the time of his arrival has been kept confidential.
