Turn on the settings like this
To enable this setting, follow the steps given below 1. Go to Call Settings: First of all, go to the Call section of your phone and open Call Settings. 2. Select the option of supplementary service: You will find the option of “Supplementary Service” in the call settings. This option may have a different name in some smartphones. 3. Turn off call waiting: Here you will find the option of “Call Waiting”. If it is enabled, disable it. 4. Set up call forwarding: Now select the option “Call Forwarding”.
Set up voice call forwarding
- In call forwarding you will get options for voice and video calls.
- Click on Voice calls.
- Four options will be visible here. Select “Forward When Busy”.
- After this you will be asked to enter a mobile number.
- Enter the number which remains switched off.
- Now whenever someone calls you, he or she will see your number switched off, while your phone remains on. If someone is bothering you by calling repeatedly, or you do not want to receive any calls, then this trick will be very useful. It not only maintains privacy but also gives you an easy solution to avoid unwanted calls.
