PM Kisan 19th Installment Date: Beneficiary farmers are waiting for the 19th installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme. According to the report, this installment will be released in February 2025. The 18th installment was released last month on October 5, 2024, in which a total of Rs 20,000 crore was deposited in the bank accounts of about 9.4 crore farmers. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 17th installment during his visit to Varanasi in June 2024. At that time the Prime Minister had provided an amount of Rs 21,000 crore to 9.26 crore farmers. The 16th installment was released in February 2024.

What is PM Kisan Yojana?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers are given an assistance amount of Rs 2,000 every four months, which amounts to Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is given in three installments – April-July, August-November and December-March. The benefit of this scheme is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiary farmers. The scheme was announced by the then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal in the interim budget of 2019 and launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today it has become the world’s largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.

E-KYC is necessary in PM Kisan Yojana

To get installment under the scheme, farmers are required to complete e-KYC. According to the official website of the scheme, eKYC is mandatory for farmers registered with PM Kisan. OTP based eKYC is available on PM Kisan Portal or biometric based eKYC can be done by visiting the nearest CSC centre.

PM Kisan: How to check beneficiary status?

Visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

Click on the ‘Know Your Status’ tab on the right.

Fill the registration number and captcha code and click on ‘Get Data’. After this the status of the beneficiary will appear on the screen.

PM Kisan: How to check name in beneficiary list?

Visit PM Kisan website www.pmkisan.gov.in.

Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab.

Select State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village from the drop-down.

Click on ‘Get Report’, after which the beneficiary list will be displayed.

Helpline numbers 155261 and 011-24300606 are also available for farmers.

How to apply for PM Kisan Yojana

Visit pmkisan.gov.in website.

Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ and fill the Aadhaar number and captcha.

Enter the required information and click on ‘Yes’.

Fill the information asked in the application form, keep it safe and take a printout for future.

Through PM Kisan Yojana, small and marginal farmers get a fixed annual assistance amount. With this, they easily get annual assistance for their farming.
