A social media platform owned by Meta Instagram Always trying to surprise users and surprise our competitors. The company’s strategy for this is to copy the popular features of its competitors’ apps. The best example of this is reels. First of all, the trend of short videos started on the social media platform TikTok. After that Instagram also launched short videos in the form of reels on their platform. Following this in 2013, the popular platform Snapchat introduced the Stories format. Copying the same, Instagram also launched a new version in 2016 and introduced the story feature for its users.

It is being claimed that Instagram is copying the popular features of Snapchat. But it is equally true that some changes are being made. Now Instagram has once again surprised its users. The company has rolled out a new image-sharing app called Instants. In this, users will get the facility to share disappearing photos with other users. These photos can be viewed only once and will be available for 24 hours. Do you feel like you’ve heard it all somewhere? This app is somewhat similar to Snapchat. The company has listed its new image-sharing app on the Google Play Store. However, it is clearly stated that this image-sharing app is not available for Indian users. A new app has been launched to make real-time sharing easier and safer. This app is based on the Shots feature. But this app is specifically designed for content that is shared quickly and disappears automatically.

A 24-hour timeline is a huge gap compared to Snapchat. Because Snapchat does not follow such strict viewing limits. The new image-sharing app lets users capture photos in just a single tap, with no editing option, to keep things more authentic and unfiltered. Users cannot upload images from camera roll. This means that all content will have to be captured and shared from the app’s camera itself.

Note that you can add text when sharing photos in the new image-sharing app. But no one can modify these unedited photos further. Instagram has made this feature available for testing to select users. The new app is currently available in Spain and Italy. The new platform can be accessed on both Android and iOS devices.
