“Regarding the other day (Season 3), I have also heard some people, but I have not received any relevant information from MAPPA. I do believe it will happen at some point! If and when it does happen, I expect it will be just as hard for the animators to animate things like Hild’s crossbows as it was for them in the previous seasons.”
This statement serves to dispel any rumors or false expectations concerning whether the show will return for another season or if any production is currently underway. Multiple sources on social media and reliable anime news sites such as GamesRadar+, MyAnimeList forums, and ScreenRant have also echoed that there is currently no production of Vinland Saga taking place, nor has there been any renewal announcement to date.

Anime News Network, Crunchyroll News, and MyAnimeList have not published any recent articles concerning the renewal of Vinland Saga to date.
