‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame actress Falak Naz has recently made serious allegations against a production house. He says that before giving him a role for a new TV show, information related to his birth was asked to check his horoscope. Angered by this, the actress expressed her displeasure by sharing a video on Instagram. Along with the video, he wrote in the caption, “We are actors, don’t make fun of our craft.”

In the video, Falak Naz told that he had recently received a call for a new show. But instead of the usual process of audition or casting, they were asked for their date of birth, place of birth and time of birth, so that their horoscope could be seen. Falak said that earlier in this industry, artists used to get work on the basis of their talent and acting skills. Later there came a time when the criteria for getting work became social media followers, and now the situation has become such that the horoscope of artists is being seen before giving them work.

Falak said that he did not reveal the name of the production house, but it is neither very old nor very new. He said that when he was asked about his birth information, he felt quite strange. According to Falak, she has been working in the industry for the last 14–15 years and she has always got work based on her talent and hard work and not because of her horoscope. She clearly said that she does not want to be a part of this kind of thinking and that is why she refused to do that project. Concluding his speech, he said, “You are a producer, not God.”

Falak Naz has been active in the television industry for more than a decade. She is especially known for her role as Janhvi Bhardwaj in the TV show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. Apart from this, she has also appeared in many TV serials like ‘Pandya Store’, ‘Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’ and ‘Laal Ishq’.
