William Sadler and Brittany Allen join the cast of The Yeti

The cast announcement of the creature feature The Yeti has been made by the makers of the film on Thursday.

The film, backed by Johnathan Brownlee and Ross Meyerson under their LA-based film and TV firm Torfoot Entertainment, has cast Dexter: Original Sin fame Brittany Allen, William Sadler, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang fame Corbin Bernsen, along with Thunder Road fame Jim Cummings.

The film is co-written and will be co-directed by William Pisciotta and Gene Gallerano. The official synopsis of the horror film is that a prehistoric creature (a Yeti) spots and stalks Ellie Bannister and Merrielle Sunday Jr., who are on the lookout for their respective fathers (Adventurer Hollis Bannister and oil tycoon Merriell Sunday Sr.), who go missing on an expedition, with northern Alaska being their last known location. The film is expected to answer whether or not the fathers and sons make out of this alive, braving the twin challenge of the tough weather and this giant creature of which none of them have any idea about.

The film is expected to go on floors later this month in Buffalo, New York.
