  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder,
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
  • 2 cups gram flour for making muthiya,
  • 1 bowl finely chopped fenugreek leaves,
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder,
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder,
  • salt to taste,
  • 2 tbsp oil,
  • 1/2 asafoetida.

How to make Ulti Surti? (Surti Undhiyu Recipe)

First of all, wash all the vegetables thoroughly, cut them and mix them.

Now heat oil in a cooker and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, red chillies, sweet neem leaves and bay leaves and fry them.

Now add tomatoes and fenugreek leaves and then add all the chopped vegetables.

Now add all the spices mentioned above and mix well, add 2 glasses of water and close the lid of the cooker and cook till two whistles.

Keep stirring until all the ingredients are mixed and add water as required and mix the dough.

Step-6
Now after two whistles in the cooker, open the lid of the cooker, make small balls of muthiya flour and put them in the cooker, close the lid of the cooker and whistle again. Now your Ondhi is ready, you can enjoy it hot with roti, rotla or puri.
