Winter Itching Problem: Do you also have wool allergy? Just do this one thing before wearing a sweater, the problem will end.

News India Live, Digital Desk: It is 15th December and the cold has started showing its attitude. Now quilts, blankets and most importantly our stylish sweaters and jackets have come out of the cupboard. To protect from cold, we wear warm clothes, but after some time a strange problem starts, itching. Many times we are sitting in the office or in a party, and suddenly our back or hands itch so much that we are neither able to sit properly nor concentrate on anything. Many times, after taking off clothes, red rashes appear on the body. We often think that perhaps the quality of the clothes might be bad, but the real reason could be something else. Come, let us find a solution to this “winter headache” today. Why do woolen clothes sting? Dryness of the skin: The air is dry in winter. Our skin loses moisture. When we wear wool with rough fibers directly on dry skin, it rubs like ‘sandpaper’, which causes itching. Lint and bacteria: Many times we keep sweaters without washing them or keep them lying in the cupboard, so dust and fine particles enter them. When we wear them directly, they irritate the skin. Effect of soap: Sometimes the chemicals of the detergent with which we wash woolen clothes remain in the clothes, which react on the sensitive skin. So what to do? Give up wearing sweaters? No way! You will definitely feel cold, just change the way you wear clothes: Layering is the best: Never let woolen cloth come in direct contact with your skin. Before wearing a sweater, wear a full-sleeved cotton shirt or T-shirt underneath. This will act as a ‘wall’ between your body and the wool, preventing pricks. Preserve moisture (Moisturize): Do not forget to apply moisturizer, body lotion or coconut oil on the entire body immediately after bathing in winter. When the skin is smooth and moist, there will be less friction from the clothes and there will be no itching. It is important to expose it to sunlight: If you have taken out an old sweater from the box or cupboard, then expose it to strong sunlight once before wearing it. This kills the bacteria present in it and also removes the damp smell. Use of liquid detergent: Wash warm clothes with mild liquid detergent instead of granular detergent, so that soap particles do not get stuck in the clothes. Just keep these small things in mind and enjoy your winter without any ‘itching’!
