Winter session of Parliament from today Waqf-Manipur violence News in Hindi: Winter session of Parliament is starting from Monday 25th November. This session will continue till 20th December. 16 bills including the Waqf Act have been listed for introduction during this session.

Meanwhile, a meeting of India Block parties has been called on Monday, the first day of the winter session of Parliament. The meeting will be held at 10 am in the office of Congress President and Rajya Sabha member Mallikarjun Kharge. In this meeting, the strategy for the winter session of Parliament will be made.

During the winter session of Parliament, opposition parties can raise the issues of violence in Manipur, Waqf Bill, Adani, while the enthusiasm of BJP and NDA has increased after the victory in Maharashtra Assembly elections and Uttar Pradesh Assembly by-elections.

Along with this, despite the defeat in Maharashtra, Congress has won the by-elections on both the Lok Sabha seats. Priyanka Gandhi has won in Kerala by more than four lakh votes. She will start the journey of parliamentary life for the first time from the winter session.

Minister Kiran Rijiju held a meeting with the parties

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju held a meeting with leaders of political parties in the upper and lower houses of Parliament on Sunday. During the meeting with Rijiju, opposition parties asked the Center to allow discussion in Parliament on the bribery allegations of American lawyers against Adani Group. The Minister clarified that the matters to be raised in both the Houses will be decided by the authorized committees with the consent of the Speaker.

After the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rijiju said that the government has appealed to all parties to run the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha smoothly.

16 bills including Waqf Act were listed
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government has listed 16 bills, including the Waqf Act Amendment Bill, for the session scheduled to run till December 20. The Waqf (Amendment) Bill is being examined by a Joint Parliamentary Committee. Since the panel is going to submit its report in this session, the opposition members have sought extension of time for the panel to submit its report.

As per the information received, 5 Bills have been listed for introduction, consideration and passing during the session, while 10 Bills have been listed for consideration and passing.
