Tata Punch Facelift vs Old Model: How much difference in price?

The price of the new Tata Punch Facelift has been kept slightly higher than the old model. The starting price of the old Punch was Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom), while the price of the facelift model starts at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). This increase has been made in view of new features, updated interior technology and better safety. Now the price gap between base and top variants has also increased, due to which customers can choose a better option according to their budget.

What changed in the design? You will see the difference at first sight

The biggest change in the new Punch Facelift is visible in its design. It now gets slim LED DRLs, new headlamps and a redesigned bumper, which matches Tata’s new SUV design language. The front grille has also got a new look. At the rear, connected LED taillamps have been provided in place of the old split taillamps, which makes the car look more premium. Apart from this, new alloy wheels and new exterior color options give it a different identity from the old model.

Powertrain: Now more power option too

In Tata Punch Facelift 2026, the company has introduced a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which generates 120 horsepower and 170 Nm torque. Along with this, the old 1.2-litre petrol and petrol-CNG engine options have also been continued. The special thing is that now CNG variant will also be available with AMT gearbox, which will make driving in the city easier.

Interior and features: The biggest upgrade comes here

Inside the cabin, the Punch Facelift looks completely changed. It now has a larger touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster and better quality cabin material. The higher variants also get features like 360-degree camera, wireless charging and automatic climate control, which were not there earlier.

Tata has also strengthened the Punch Facelift in terms of safety. Now advanced safety features are available as standard in more variants. Although the old Punch was already considered a safe car, the facelift has taken it a step further.
