Woman held a man hostage after promising him a job, took lakhs of rupees and seriously tortured him

Many times such cases come to light in which people are promised good jobs but later they are trafficked. Once again a similar case has come to light in which a 31-year-old woman has been accused of human trafficking.

In this case, officials have informed that the woman had promised the man a good job and said that she would not face any problems while working in Cambodia. The woman, a native of Kollam, Thazhava, had promised a good job by taking around Rs 120,000.

The woman took the man from Nedumbassery to Thailand and then transferred him to Cambodia. There the person was used in online scanning. Later, when he did not complete the target, he started being tortured severely. Later, the woman promised to call the man back after taking Rs 1.5 lakh, but when he broke the promise, his family lodged a complaint with the police and now investigation is being done.
