Woman throws ink on Abhijeet Deepke, protesters catch him; Now the police is interrogating

Saturday was a very turbulent day for the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). In the morning, Delhi Police forcibly picked up Sonam Wangchuk, an educationist who was on hunger strike for the last 20 days demanding the resignation of the country’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and admitted her to Safdarjung Hospital. Now at Jantar Mantar, a woman threw ink on CJP founder Abhijit Deepke, causing chaos at the protest site. However, people present nearby caught the woman and handed her over to the police. Police is interrogating the woman.

After ink was thrown on him, Abhijeet Deepke has posted a post on social media platform X. In this he said that blue is my favorite color. Earlier, while addressing the protesters, Abhijeet Deepke announced that he would sit on a hunger strike.

Deepke sitting on hunger strike

Deepke declared, “They picked her up like criminals are picked up. They felt that without Sonam sir, the movement would weaken. Now, in her place, I will sit on an indefinite hunger strike.” He further added, “The way Sonam ji was taken was not only shameful. Delhi Police cited the Delhi High Court order regarding her health. But the court had said (she should be admitted) only if her condition is critical. Sonam sir clearly said that her condition is stable. The medical report shows that all aspects of her health are fine.”

What did Sonam’s wife say?

Sonam Wangchuk’s wife Geetanjali Angmo said that there was no mention of hospitalization in the Delhi High Court order. Geetanjali J Angmo said, “The Delhi High Court order merely stated that a person’s health is of utmost importance and should be monitored from time to time, no hospitalization was ordered. Therefore, it is not in accordance with the High Court order.

There is no treatment going on right now. Only monitoring and tests are being done and we are actually going to get the tests done from an external lab. Because they are not giving the reports we asked for, and the figures they are giving, like potassium level reaching 2.9, yesterday it was 4.3, so today it could not have changed that much. “We want to confirm it from another lab before giving any medicine.”

Sonam Wangchuk is on a fast – Geetanjali Angmo

Gitanjali Angmo further said, “Sonam Wangchuk is still on fast. He is just taking salt water which he was taking earlier. I am thankful that the government cared to bring him here, but we will take further steps ourselves, there is no need for government interference in this matter. He is definitely weak.”
