Woman who went on solo trekking found safe in Karnataka after three days

Karnataka: Kerala’s solo tracker G. S. Sharanya (36), who had gone for trekking on Tadiyandamol peak on April 2, went missing after she suddenly lost her way. After wandering alone in the forest for three days, she has been rescued safely.

Karnataka: 9 teams engaged in search of the girl

Forest, Biology and Environment Minister Ishwar B. Khandre said that 9 teams operated day and night to find Sharanya. This included police, anti-Naxal squad and forest department employees. Local tribals also came to help in the operation. The minister said that Sharanya is now completely healthy and will be safely taken to her home in Kerala.

Delay due to lack of mobile network

Karnataka: According to the information, Sharanya had gone on trekking with 15 other trekkers and a nature guide on April 2. As soon as all the trackers returned to their base, it was discovered that Sharanya had lost her way. Due to lack of mobile network in the forest, it became difficult to track their location, due to which there was some delay in the search operation. The minister praised Sharanya’s bravery and said That She is a courageous young woman.
