The Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament will be played from February 13 to 22 in Bangkok. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has given information about this through social media on Monday.

Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament. The tournament, which will be played in T20 format, will aim to discover emerging women’s cricket talent from the ‘A’ teams of the full member countries and the top four associate teams in the Asian region. Full member countries will include teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, while associate teams from UAE, Nepal, Malaysia and Thailand will be included.

According to the schedule announced by ACC, Group A consists of India ‘A’, Pakistan ‘A’, UAE and Nepal. Meanwhile, Group B consists of Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Malaysia and Thailand. Each team will play three league matches. The top two teams from both groups will qualify for the semi-finals.

How will India’s schedule be?

India will play their first match against UAE on February 13. Then on February 15, a high-voltage match between India A and Pakistan A will be played. India will face Nepal on February 17. Two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals. These matches will be played on February 20. On February 22, the winners of the two semi-finals will face each other for the title.

The last tournament was held in 2023
