Women’s ICC Ranking: Mandhana’s dominance continues in women’s ODI ranking, Harmanpreet at 7th place; New Zealand’s Sophie’s ranking falls
Dubai. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has moved up one place to seventh in the ICC women’s ODI rankings, while vice-captain Smriti Mandhana remains at the top spot. This change in ranking happened after New Zealand’s veteran player Sophie Devine slipped two places to number nine. India’s Jemimah Rodrigues remains at 12th position.
New Zealand batsman Maddy Green has made a big jump in the rankings after playing a brilliant inning of 94 runs in the final match of the ‘ICC Women’s Championship Series’ against Zimbabwe. Thanks to 33-year-old Green’s innings of 73 balls played in Dunedin, his team won by 200 runs and swept the series 3-0.
With this performance, she has moved up five places to 17th position with 610 rating points, which is the best ranking of her career.
