Amol Muzumdar has admitted that it will not be easy to replace all-rounder Amanjot Kaur in the team, as she plays an important role in both balance and depth. Big loss to the team due to Amanjot Kaur’s injury
Amanjot Kaur has been an important all-rounder for the Indian women’s team and has consistently performed impressively in recent times. But due to serious injury she is out of the upcoming tournament. According to coach Amol Majumdar, Amanjot may take around four to five months to recover.
He expressed hope that she would be fully fit and make a strong comeback. His absence could affect the balance of the team, especially considering the lack of all-round options.

Amol Majumdar said that it is very difficult to replace a player like Amanjot Kaur. He said that the team has always taken advantage of his consistency and performance. He said,
‘Injury is a part of the game, but it is not easy to replace a player who has contributed consistently like Amanjot. We will miss him.
The coach also said that the team management is positive about the situation and is trying to maintain a balance by giving chances to other players.
Preparations intensified before England tour
The Indian team will play three T20 International matches against England before the World Cup. After this the team will take part in a special training camp in Bengaluru from 10 to 16 May. This camp is considered extremely important for the team’s strategy, combination and adaptation to foreign conditions. According to coach Majumdar, such camps play an important role in uniting the players and preparing them for pressure matches.
England tour has always been challenging for the Indian women’s team. The conditions there are considered favorable for fast bowlers and swing bowling. However, considering the past performance the team’s confidence is strong. India had performed brilliantly against England last year and now the team will try to repeat the same rhythm. The coach said that the team is ready for any challenge and the players are mentally strong.
