Prime Video has officially added Zombieland: Double Tap to its January 2026 streaming slate, (via Comic Book). The R-rated sequel is scheduled to arrive on the platform on January 1, 2026, giving subscribers the opportunity to stream the film more than six years after its theatrical debut.

Taking place ten years after the original outbreak, the sequel reunites Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock. A new situation pushes them to leave their familiar surroundings. Along the way, they face more evolved zombies, run into other survivor groups, and deal with growing tensions within their own team. The journey eventually brings them to Babylon, an offbeat, self-sustaining community whose lifestyle challenges the group’s approach to survival.

Woody Harrelson returns as Tallahassee, with Jesse Eisenberg reprising his role as Columbus. The other cast members include Emma Stone as Wichita/Krista, Abigail Breslin as Little Rock, and Rosario Dawson as Nevada among others.

Critically, the sequel holds a 68 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoesbased on 259 reviews. MSB Reviews reported, “All in all, Zombieland: Double Tap pays a decent homage to the original zombie cult classic by getting everyone (cast and crew) back together, and delivering yet another entertaining flick.”

At the box office, the movie earned approximately $73 million in the United States and Canada, with an additional $49 million from international markets. This brings the worldwide total of the film to more than $122 million (via Box Office Mojo).
