Enterprise services startup Wootzwork has secured $6.6 Mn (about ₹60 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Z47. Besides, investors like Nexus Venture Partners, AdvantEdge Founders and Stride Ventures also participated in the round.

The Delhi NCR-based startup plans to utilise the fresh capital to expand its global engineering and programme teams, support larger and more complex original equipment manufacturing (OEM) programmes. Besides, it also plans to scale its manufacturing control systems across regions.

For context, OEM programmes are structured partnerships in which OEMs produce components or subsystems that other companies integrate into their final products, typically under the buyer’s brand.

Founded in 2023 by Karan Anand and Himanshu Uniyal, Wootzwork acts as a platform that provides custom fabrication and manufacturing services. It claims to take ownership of the entire process, from design to delivery while streamlining cross-border procurement by using buyer inputs  to customise products and generate quotes.

“Most companies treat manufacturing complexity as a risk to be minimised. We treat it as a competitive advantage. When the system is engineered properly, complexity becomes leverage—not chaos,” Anand noted.

With this round, the startup’s total funding has reached nearly $10 Mn (nearly ₹100 Cr), including a $3.5 Mn (about ₹30 Cr) seed round in 2023 which was also led by Z47 and Nexus Venture Partners.

The startup currently has engineering and programme teams across India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany. Over the past year, it claims to have executed complex cross-border manufacturing programmes for more than 22 global enterprises across 12 international trade lanes spanning North America, Europe and APAC, including markets such as the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand.

Wootzwork competes with the likes of Procol, ProcurEngine, TYASuite and Kostwein India, the Indian arm of Austria-based Kostwein Group.

The funding comes amid growing investor interest in India’s SaaS startups, which are expanding their footprints beyond Southeast Asia. Much of this enthusiasm is driven by their ability to scale quickly, grow revenue fast and stay aligned with global trends in AI and digital transformation.

According to Inc42’s Decoding India’s SaaS Startup Ecosystem reportthe country’s SaaS market opportunity is projected to surpass the $70 Bn mark by 2030, clocking a CAGR of 31% over the next five to six years.

This has also triggered an uptick in investor interest in the space. For instance, just a few days ago, B2B SaaS startup Mojro raised $3 Mn in a funding round led by IAN Group’s IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from 1Crowd and existing investors.
