According to the information received, the police had received specific information about black marketing of match tickets in the areas around Motera Stadium. On the basis of which the team of LCB Zone-2 had organized intensive patrolling and watch in Chandkheda area. During the investigation, the police got information that a person was taking advantage of the helplessness of the fans and selling the tickets booked online at very high and manipulative prices. The police had set up a watchtower at Batmiwali place and kept a watch. Meanwhile, a young man who was selling tickets outside the Motera Stadium was caught red-handed by the police. Sources are also saying that during preliminary inquiry, several match tickets were recovered from the accused. Police have taken legal action against this person and arrested him.
The police is now investigating whether any other big syndicates are involved in this black market game. The police is investigating the mobile details and network to find out from where the arrested youth got such a large number of tickets and how many other people are associated with him. This action of the police before the final match has spread panic among black marketers.
