World’s second best airport expands Southeast Asia connectivity with new routes
The airline operates five weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays using a 347-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Passengers on all classes receive complimentary meals, while the aircraft also features a 12-seat Business Saver cabin with lie-flat seats and 335 economy seats designed for medium- and long-haul travel.
Indonesia, Southeast Asia’s largest economy with a population of around 280 million, is considered a key market for South Korea in both trade and tourism.
Airport officials said the new route is expected to strengthen Incheon’s Southeast Asian network and improve global connectivity for travelers.
From April 17, Vietnam’s newest carrier Sun PhuQuoc Airways launched direct flights between Phu Quoc and Incheon, connecting Vietnam’s largest island with Seoul, amid strong growth in arrivals from South Korea.
Industry experts in South Korea said Phu Quoc is rapidly emerging as one of Southeast Asia’s leading resort destinations and is expected to become even more popular among Korean travelers in the coming years.
