Harmanpreet Kaur’s strong innings, Amanjot-Nicola Carey’s excellent support, Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat Giants by 7 wickets.
The sixth match of the Women’s Premier League 2026 was played on Tuesday (January 13) between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Gujarat Giants, who came to bat first, did not have a very good start and the team lost the wicket of Sophie Devine (8) early. After this, Beth Mooney and Kanika Ahuja took charge of the innings and added 42 runs for the second wicket. Mooney scored 33 runs in 26 balls, while Kanika Ahuja played a quick inning of 35 runs in 18 balls.
