WPL 2026: Delhi Capitals Join ‘Hi’ Star Player! So big blow for RCB; All-rounder Ellis Perry retreats
WPL 2026 : Bad news for Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB all-rounder Ellis Perry and Delhi Capitals’ Annabelle Sutherland on Tuesday next month. Women’s Premier LeagueWithdrawn due to personal reasons. According to a Women’s Premier League press release, Indian all-rounder Saili Satghare will replace Australian all-rounder Perry in Royal Challengers Bangalore. While Delhi Capitals have replaced her compatriot all-rounder Sutherland with Australian leg-spinner Alana King.

WPL According to a press release issued by the, “Australian all-rounders Ellyse Perry (Royal Challengers Bangalore) and Annabelle Sutherland (Delhi Capitals) have withdrawn from the upcoming season of the league due to personal reasons.” It read, “RCB replaces Perry with Saili Satghare. Satghare will join RCB at a base price of ₹30 lakh. Delhi Capitals replace Sutherland with Alana King.”
It further reads, “The Australian leg-spinner represented UP Warriors last season and took 27 wickets in 27 T20 Internationals. King will join Delhi at a base price of ₹60 lakh.” UP Warriors have replaced left-arm fast bowler Tara Norris with Australian all-rounder Charlie Knott.
WPLNorris, who played for the Delhi Capitals in her first season, has been included in the USA squad for next year’s Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Nepal. “The note has been contracted at a base price of ₹10 lakh,” WPL said. The fourth season of WPL will be played in two phases from January 9 to February 5 in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will begin their campaign against Mumbai Indians on January 9. They will then face Uttar Pradesh Warriors on January 12, Gujarat Giants on January 16 and Delhi Capitals on January 17. Bengaluru will have their last league match against Uttar Pradesh on January 29. Also Delhi Capitals will start their campaign against Mumbai on January 10 while Delhi will play their last league match against Mumbai on January 20.
