MI W vs RCB W: The first match of WPL 2026 is being played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. In this match, RCB won the toss and invited MI to bat first. Thanks to the brilliant innings of Sajeevan Sajna, Mumbai team was able to reach a respectable score and scored 154 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs and gave RCB a target of 155 to win.

G Kamalini played an inning of 35 runs
After this, captain Harmanpreet Kaur along with G Kamalini handled the innings of Mumbai Indians and added 63 runs to the team’s score in 10 overs. The team got the third blow in the form of Kamalini when Shreyanka Patil bowled her on the last ball of the 10th over on a personal score of 35 runs. Kamalini played an inning of 35 runs in 28 balls with the help of 5 fours. After this, Captain Kaur, after scoring 20 runs in 17 balls with 1 four and 1 six, was caught behind the wicket by Richa on the ball of Nadine de Klerk.

Sanjana and Carey played brilliant innings
After this the team’s score Sajeevan Sajna led the way with Nicola Carey and helped the team score to 100 in 15 overs. Both of them helped the team reach a respectable score and performed brilliantly in the last overs. Sajna played a brilliant inning for the team and scored 45 runs in 25 balls with 7 fours and 1 six.
