Why was the match not played in WPL today?
Actually WPL 2026 is being organized in 2 cities. The first 11 matches of this tournament were played at Divya Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. January 18 has been kept as the travel and transition day of the tournament, because all the 5 teams are leaving for Gujarat from Navi Mumbai. For this reason, a break has been kept on January 18. Its purpose is to give rest to the players.

RCB is on top in WPL 2026 points table
So far 11 matches have been played in the first phase in WPL 2026. If we look at the condition of the points table, Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Smriti Mandhana, is on the toss. RCB has won all four matches played so far. Whereas the teams of Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriors are at second, third and fourth position in the points table with 4-4 points table. Whereas the performance of Delhi Capitals has been poor. Delhi has won only one match so far and is at the lowest position.
