U19 Asia Cup 2025 Final: Pakistan’s young batsman Sameer Minhas played an amazing inning in the final of the ongoing Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai. In this big match against India, he caught everyone’s attention by scoring a brilliant century. Sameer, who gave a strong start to the Pakistan team, has now emerged as the new hope of Pakistani cricket.

Explosive innings in the final

India won the toss and chose to bowl first, but Sameer Minhas thrashed the Indian bowlers. This right-handed batsman, who came to open, completed his century in just 71 balls. In his innings he hit 17 fours and 9 sixes.

Sameer was out after scoring 172 runs after playing a total of 113 balls, because he was caught by Kanishk Chauhan on the ball of Deepesh Devendran. Thanks to this explosive innings of Sameer, Pakistan was successful in making a big score.

Sameer Minhas was born on 2 December 2006 in Multan city of Pakistan. He comes from a cricket loving family. His elder brother Arafat Minhas has played T20 international matches for the senior Pakistan team. Arafat also represented Pakistan in the Under-19 World Cup 2024.

Sameer bats with his right hand and also bowls leg break googly. Sameer, who has played for Multan and Southern Punjab teams in domestic cricket, is now making his mark at the international level.
