Team India with the support of Pakistan for WTC Final, may have played big, final may be between India and Sri Lanka, this is the new equation

The race for the ICC World Test Championship Final (WTC Final) is becoming very interesting day by day. Indian team now has to play a total of 2 matches in this cycle, while Australian team has to play 4 matches and Sri Lankan team has to play 2 matches. A 2-match test series is to be played between Pakistan and South Africa. The 2-match test series is to be played between Afghanistan (Afghanistan Cricket Team) and West Indies (West Indies Cricket Team).

At present, the teams of South Africa and Australia (Sri Lanka Cricket Team) are at the forefront in the race for the ICC World Test Championship Final (WTC Final). However, according to the current equation, the final can be played between the teams of India and Sri Lanka.

If Pakistan loses both the matches then South Africa is out

The test series between Pakistan and South Africa is going to start from 26th December. This test series of 2 matches will be played from 26th December to 30th December. The second test match will be played between 3 to 7 January. The performance of Pakistan team has been very excellent in the last few matches. Pakistan won the series by defeating the England team at home.

Now if Pakistan team defeats South Africa in both the matches, then South Africa's PCT will come to around 55 percent. In such a situation, the South African team will also be out of the race for the final, which currently seems to be a strong contender to play the final (WTC Final).

If Sri Lanka defeats Australia 2-0 then the final will be between India and Sri Lanka.

The last 2 matches of this cycle are to be played between Sri Lanka and Australia in Galle, hosted by Sri Lanka, and it will not be easy to defeat the Sri Lankan team here in Galle. Recently, the Sri Lankan team had defeated the New Zealand team by 2-0 here, in such a situation, if the Australian team has to lose this series by 0-2, then the Sri Lankan team, which is currently in 5th place, will qualify for the final ( Will make it to the WTC Final.

If all the above equations are formed, then the ICC World Test Championship final can be played between India and Sri Lanka in England.
