WTC Points Table: India suffered huge loss due to New Zealand’s victory, team reached last four
WTC Points Table: New Zealand registered a big win by 9 wickets in the second test against West Indies. With this victory of the host team, there has been a big change in the points table of WTC 2025-27. The Kiwi team has reached third place in the points table. Meanwhile, the Indian team has suffered heavy losses. They have dropped one place and are in the last four.

Jacob Duffy performed brilliantly for the New Zealand team and broke the back of the West Indies batting order by taking five wickets in the second innings. Duffy received the Player of the Match award for his good performance. In the current World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle, New Zealand has played only two matches, out of which they have drawn one and won the other. The PCT of Kiwi team is 66.67 percent and it is at third position. On the other hand, the PCT of the Sri Lankan team is also the same. But it is one place behind New Zealand and is at fourth position.
On the other hand, India has suffered a loss due to New Zealand occupying the third position. The team has now slipped from fifth to sixth position. Below that are the teams of England, Bangladesh and West Indies respectively. India has played a total of 9 matches so far in the current cycle, out of which four have been won and four have been lost. The team’s PCT is 48.15.
