Xiaomi 17T Series: Xiaomi launches two great smartphones, Laika cameras will be available with 1.5K AMOLED display, know the price

Xiaomi 17T Series: Tech company Xiaomi has officially introduced its new flagship smartphone series Xiaomi 17T in the global markets. This new series has been launched as an upgrade to the already existing Xiaomi 15T series in the market. Under this new lineup, the company has launched two great models in the market, which include standard Xiaomi 17T and premium Xiaomi 17T Pro. Both these smartphones have excellent triple rear camera setup with the tuning of Leica for photography.

Talking about the processor, the standard Xiaomi 17T model has a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, while its Pro variant is equipped with a more powerful Dimensity 9500 processor. Both these models of Xiaomi 17T series come with 1.5K resolution AMOLED display and they work on the company’s latest HyperOS 3 operating system based on Android 16.

Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro price and availability
If we look at the prices, the price of the base variant of Xiaomi 17T has been fixed at 749 Euro (approximately Rs 83,500), in which users get 256GB internal storage with 12GB RAM. The second variant of this phone with 514GB storage will be available at a price of 799 Euro (approximately Rs 89,000). This phone has been made available for sale to customers in four beautiful colors like Black, Blue, Opal White and Violet.

On the other hand, the premium model Xiaomi 17T Pro has been priced at Euro 899 (approximately Rs 1,02,000) for the starting configuration with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Apart from this, the price of other variants of the phone with 512GB and 1TB storage has been fixed at 999 Euro (approximately Rs 1,11,400) and 1,099 Euro (approximately Rs 1,22,500) respectively. This Pro model comes in Deep Blue, Deep Violet and Black color shades. The company has started selling both these smartphones in the UK and select European markets.

Features and specifications of Xiaomi 17T series
The standard Xiaomi 17T smartphone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, which supports 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Along with this, it has features like HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and peak brightness of 3,500 nits. In contrast, the Pro model i.e. Xiaomi 17T Pro has a slightly larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display, which supports high refresh rate up to 144Hz.

For performance, Xiaomi’s own developed Surge T1 Plus and T1S chips have also been added to the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset in Xiaomi 17T. It has 3D ice loop cooling system for better gaming. Apart from this, Astro Communication feature has been provided in it, which according to the company’s claim, allows offline conversation up to a distance of 1.3 kilometers even without internet or network in selected circumstances. The flagship MediaTek Dimension 9500 processor has been used in its Pro model.

Powerful camera setup will be available with Lyca branding
For photography enthusiasts, both the phones have been provided with a complete camera system. It includes a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. However, there is a difference in the main camera of both the phones. Xiaomi 17T has a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor, while the Pro model has a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 950 sensor, which the company also used in its Xiaomi 17 model.

For selfie and video calling lovers, a 32-megapixel camera has been provided on the front of both the handsets, which has the capability of recording 4K HDR10 video at 60fps. Android 16 based HyperOS 3 and other features of Xiaomi ecosystem are common in both these models.

Large 7,000mAh battery and fast charging support
This series is also very strong in terms of power backup. The standard Xiaomi 17T model has a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 67W wired fast charging. Its Pro model is even ahead in terms of battery, in which the company has given a huge battery of 7,000mAh. This Pro model also fully supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging technology.
