Xiaomi EV: Xiaomi’s new car will challenge the premium EV segment, know the price and features

Xiaomi EV: Xiaomi has launched its new electric sedan Xiaomi SU7. The company has claimed to make it not just a car, but a “driver’s dream car”. With strong performance, long range, premium interior and advanced technology, this car directly challenges the premium EV segment.

Variants and price
The new SU7 has been introduced in three variants – Standard, Pro and Max. Its price starts from RMB 219,900 (approximately ₹29 lakh) and goes up to RMB 303,900 (approximately ₹41 lakh). Different levels of features and performance are seen in each variant.

Design and exterior
The design of SU7 now looks more sporty and clean. It has a new front grille, 4D radar and 6 different wheel options. Also, 9 color options like Coastal Blue, Blazing Red and Viridian Green make it special. The car also has a 105 liter front trunk (frunk), which can be opened in 8 ways including app, voice command and remote.

Luxury Interior and Comfort
The cabin of the SU7 offers a premium feel, with soft-touch materials, Nappa leather steering and 4 interior color options. Ambient lighting varies depending on driving mode and music. The front seats get heating, ventilation and 18-way adjustment, while the passenger seat has zero-gravity and massage features. The cabin also has soundproofing, inbuilt fridge and fragrance system.

Performance and range
It has HyperEngine V6s Plus motor, which achieves the speed of 0-100 km/h in just 3.08 seconds. Its top speed is 265 km/h. The Pro variant offers a range of up to 902 km, while the other variants offer a range of up to 720 km.
