Xiaomi launches split AC: AI features will be available with HyperOS support, will make the room cool in 15 seconds Shimla

If you are looking for an air conditioner with fast cooling and smart features, then Xiaomi’s new launch may be interesting for you. The company has introduced its new AI-powered split AC, which comes with HyperOS support and claims to cool the room fast in just 15 seconds. This AC has been provided with advanced features like smart airflow, energy-saving technology and AI control, which make it quite different from normal air conditioners.

Technically it is a 1.5HP+ wall-mounted air conditioner, but the company claims that it gives as much output as a larger 2HP floor-standing model. It has a 13cc dual-cylinder compressor, dual-row pure copper condenser and evaporator. This combination delivers 6500W cooling and 8800W heating capacity, allowing it to start delivering cool air in just 15 seconds and hot air in 30 seconds.

The thermal exchange system inside has been reworked, which doubles the heat exchange surface area of ​​the condenser and also reduces operating noise. The system can work stably in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C.

It has a 118mm cross-flow fan, which can circulate 1,000 cubic meters of air per hour. Instead of blowing air directly, it uses smart airflow mode – directing air towards the ceiling for cooling and towards the floor for heating to improve comfort.

It has got a Level 1 rating and 6.30 APF score for energy efficiency. Xiaomi claims that it uses about 404kWh less electricity annually compared to the normal Level 3 model.

This AC runs on HyperOS and has an AI module that does local processing. You can also control it through mobile app, XiaoAI voice command or dashboard of Xiaomi car.

Apart from this, useful features like self-cleaning feature, anti-mildew drying and child lock are also provided in it. This model has been introduced after the standard version that came out last month and has now been made available on Xiaomi Mall in China at a starting price of 3,299 yuan ($484), while its original price is 4,899 yuan ($719).
