Xiaomi Power Bank: Ultra-slim power bank with 10,000mAh battery launched, will support both iPhone and Android

Xiaomi has launched a new portable charger in China. Its name is Xiaomi Jinshajiang Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W. Its design is ultra slim and portable, which you can easily carry in a bag or pocket.

The company says that you will be able to charge both iPhone and Android devices with this power bank.

Features of Xiaomi Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh
As its name suggests, this power bank is designed to be extremely slim and portable. According to the company, its thickness is only 13.2mm and its weight is 195 grams. Its size is 102 x 70.5 x 13.2mm.

Two 5,000mAh battery cells are provided inside it. Xiaomi has used the new GSR silicon-carbon anode battery technology in it. The company claims that this battery offers an energy density of up to 840Wh/L and has 16% silicon content, which is typically seen in flagship-grade batteries. Despite having a larger battery capacity, the device remains slim.

The device supports up to 20W magnetic wireless charging and works with Xiaomi smartphones as well as Apple iPhone.

Talking about wired charging, it supports speed up to 45W. Apart from this, 40W, 30W and 27W charging is also supported. Users can charge two devices simultaneously in wired and wireless modes.

The power bank itself can recharge at speeds of up to 30W and supports common charging protocols like QC and PD.

For better heat management, NTC intelligent temperature control chip, graphene heat-dissipation material and thermally conductive silicone have been used in it.

The company has also made many claims regarding the strength of the battery. According to Xiaomi, the battery cells passed tests like needle penetration, high-temperature storage and heavy-pressure compression and neither caught fire nor exploded under these conditions.

The most interesting feature is that users can connect this power bank to a computer to check the battery health, device status, traceability information and also a record of any abnormalities. This power bank is currently available for pre-order in China and its price has been kept at 369 yuan (about 54 dollars).
