XO, Kitty Season 3: Plot
Kitty Song Covey comes back to KISS for her last year as a senior and has a plan for the perfect senior year, including the following:
– Create meaningful memories with her friends
– Get to know her relatives in Korea better
– To decide on some important things for her future (including college)
– Finally, defining her relationship with Min Ho (this time for real)
Unfortunately, surprise twists and turns will get in the way of her plans, and she’ll need to resolve to embrace the chaos of her world. Expect more romance, friendship, adventure, drama (with reportedly much more than seasons before), and lots of kissing to come this season. The new season reportedly begins with a summer episode and has more mature subject matter as the senior year progresses.
The story picks up from the cliffhanger of season 2, where Kitty seemed ready to tour with Min Ho and his family. Additionally, the season will have a significant focus on family relationships, including some Korean cultural aspects like Chuseok.
There was at least one reported exit; however, the majority of the KISS cast remains for the final chapter of the series, taking place during their last year of high school.
KISS continues to offer a lighthearted romantic comedy spin-off based on Jenny Han’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before universe, telling stories of Kitty’s misadventures with matchmaking, friendship, self-discovery, and multicultural experiences in Seoul.
