Yagy Builds Integrated Daily Food Infrastructure Platform
Pune-based food-tech startup Yagy Tech Pvt Ltd, the company behind food brands Mealawe and DeskDyne, has secured 18 multi-year enterprise contracts with an estimated annualised revenue potential of ₹100–150 crore upon full activation. The milestone marks a significant step in the company’s ambition to build an integrated food infrastructure platform catering to India’s everyday meal consumption needs.
Unlike conventional food delivery and grocery platforms that focus on specific consumption occasions, Yagy is positioning itself as a technology-enabled operating backbone that serves daily food demand across multiple touchpoints, including homes, workplaces, educational institutions, and other organised environments.
Currently operating in 10 cities and serving more than 150,000 meals every month, the startup is now preparing to expand its footprint to 21 cities across India through a shared operational and technology infrastructure.
Rupesh Kumar, Founder & CEO, Yagy Tech Pvt Ltd, said: “Every Indian eats three times a day, yet most food platforms are built around occasional ordering. Yagy is building for the daily habit — the meals people eat at home, at work, and across institutions. Food delivery solved cravings. Grocery platforms solved ingredients. Cafeteria vendors solved isolated office meals. But nobody connected the full daily food journey. That is the infrastructure we are building.”
The newly signed enterprise agreements span a diverse range of sectors, including quick commerce, IT services, education, co-working spaces, and institutional dining environments. The contracts are expected to be rolled out in phases, creating a substantial growth opportunity for the startup over the coming years.
Industry observers note that enterprise-managed food services remain a fragmented market in India, presenting significant opportunities for technology-led operators capable of delivering standardised, scalable, and data-driven solutions across multiple consumption channels.
Yagy has previously raised $1 million from a group of entrepreneurs based in India and overseas. The company is currently raising an additional $1 million bridge round to support the activation of its newly secured contracts, accelerate expansion into additional cities, strengthen its sales capabilities, and further scale its operational and technology infrastructure.
The startup has also developed its technology stack in-house and is leveraging AI-assisted software development to improve execution speed while maintaining a lean operational structure. Yagy is a member of the NVIDIA Inception Program, holds two granted patents, and is currently pursuing ISO 27001 certification.
As India’s food-tech ecosystem continues to evolve beyond consumer ordering platforms, Yagy is betting that integrated food infrastructure and enterprise-driven demand will become the next major growth frontier in the sector.
