Yamaha India unveils Tenere 700
Delhi Delhi. Yamaha India unveiled the much-awaited Ténéré 700 adventure motorcycle in India. Although we expect Yamaha to release a 2025 model, the bike displayed is an older model. Via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, the motorcycle is expected to arrive in India by October 2025.
Design and Features
Due to its specially designed construction, the Yamaha Tenere 700 can be used for both off-roading and touring. The long single-piece seat and the tall flyscreen at the front all add to the daring design of the motorcycle. With its extremely slim midsection and tail, the bike has a sporty look. There is only one blue color option available for the Ténéré 700.
The Yamaha Tenere 700 is powered by a 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 73.4PS and 68Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has a double cradle frame, and a USD telescopic fork and monoshock to take care of the suspension. Brakes are a single 245mm disc at the rear and two 282mm discs at the front. The spoke wheels of the motorcycle are 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear.
The Ténéré 700 has a 16-litre fuel tank, a seat height of 860mm and ground clearance of 225mm. Considering the size of the motorcycle, it has a curb weight of 211 kg. Apart from all-LED lighting, the 2025 Yamaha Tenere 700 features an all-new 6.3-inch vertical TFT display with two display modes: Street and Explorer. Yamaha's Y- The Connect app enables smartphone connectivity through the TFT display, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, music controls and Call/SMS alert facility is available.
