In the released poster, Akshay Oberoi is seen in a retro look. His hairstyle, costume and body language together give the impression of a mysterious personality. The most shocking scene is that he is seen standing on a pile of dead bodies. His sharp eyes and stern expressions indicate that ‘Tony’ is not a simple character, but a complex personality. Geetu Mohandas also described her experience with Akshay Oberoi as very special. According to him, Akshay is one of those actors who does not take the script lightly, but tries to understand the background behind every scene.
Sudev Nair is in the role of Karmaadi.

Sudev Nair is looking fantastic in the role of Karmaadi in Toxic. In his look, the flat cap pulled down, neatly groomed moustache, fixed eyes and the gun in his hand look spectacular. But the real strength lies not in their outward appearance, but in their silence. Director Geetu Mohandas wrote about Sudev on social media that Sudev not only played this role but also lived it as a part of the entire film’s journey.
Hard core action drama is toxic
Looking at the poster it is also clear that the film is far beyond the traditional hero-villain film. Akshay’s character is seen completely in gray shade, where the line between right and wrong is blurred. This narrative style is becoming the new identity of today’s films. The film is being presented as a hard core action drama. The rawness and dark tone of the poster shows that the makers have focused on the seriousness of the story rather than glamour. The styling and background of the film gives a glimpse of a world where power, violence and ambition are in constant conflict.
